QuickBooks restore backup instructions

You have restored a backup copy of your company file on a new computer and the Loan Manager or Fixed Asset Manager are missing information, your customized forms are missing the logo or layouts, and other related files or data do not appear to be updated. In QuickBooks Desktop, the backup process includes files that are related to the company .qbw file, and are stored in a special folder during the restore process. To restore those related files, follow the steps in the Detailed instructions sectionNOTE: These related files are not automatically restored to prevent the possibility of overwriting other existing related files that you may want to keep.
